So, things like How do I start a Revit file How do I draw walls How do I make elevations How do I make sections How do I make sheets Etc etc Then as you're going through the steps to answer those questions, write down the questions you will inevitably have down, and add them to your discovery list (why doesn't "random thing" show up in my "whatever view" ? Is going to be a common one) Or, if you don't really have a handle on what a project would even need, try to find a set of construction documents and try to recreate them. I struggle to learn things without a purpose (ie blindly going through tutorials step by step is almost impossible unless it answers a specific question) If you're like this, I'd start by asking "how do I." questions, and then start googling until you have answers you can follow. If you don't learn the same way as someone else, the advice might not be relevant.įor example, I'm a "problem oriented" learner.
